TMA-05B - CD Access Code: not required
Q1. Describe the different MX record fields and explain how the transmission of e-mail depends on whether the e-mail domain is intradomain or interdomain.
Q2. A range of methods can be used to optimise the performance and fault tolerance of a server, including RAID, high availability clustering, parallel processing, and backup. Describe each of these methods, as well as server optimisation in general.
Q3. Describe the effects of queues and bottlenecks, along with ways to eliminate them.
Q4. Explain the different areas of server vulnerabilities and the methods for enhancing server security.
Q5. Describe the features of IDS and explain about the security tradeoffs that are associated with IDS use.
Q6. Explain what RAID is and describe its different levels.
This a very concise assignment, but it is only the questions that are short, the responses need to be a little more verbose.
